While Israel has released 117 Palestinians in the last three days, it has imprisoned 116 others in the West Bank. And 239 Palestinians have been killed, also in the West Bank, since October 7, according to Al Jazeera.
Al Jazeera English journalist in the occupied West Bank, Zein Brasavi, claims that “the Israelis have released 117 Palestinians in the last three days and, at the same time, arrested 116 new Palestinian prisoners across the occupied West Bank.”
“For every family celebrating the return of a loved one, there is a family suffering from the detention of one person,” explains the journalist.
Raids in the West Bank
In recent days, arrests, particularly of children, have intensified in the West Bank. The Israeli army has organized raids in several towns. Sixty-four people have been imprisoned in the last 24 hours.
